Maritime Management
The graduate study programme in Maritime Management enrolls 45 students, and admission requires a certificate of completion of a related undergraduate study programme. The programme is conducted over four semesters lasting two academic years, and upon its completion, students earn 120 ECTS credits.
The study programme, in addition to theoretical lectures, includes a large number of practical computer exercises and field instruction in various maritime institutions and companies. Students are educated and trained to become highly professional staff within the field of maritime affairs in the application of scientific disciplines allowing acquisition of recent knowledge on modern transport technologies, ship management based on application of quality management (TQM) irrespective of whether it is the case of ships as organisational subsystems, or shipping companies representing units of joint subsystems. Students investigate the dynamics of behaviour of technical, technological, organisational, economic, information and ecological subsystems of maritime transport. After finishing graduate studies students acquire competences of top-rank participation in managing business organisational systems.

Continue specialised higher education after completing the undergraduate studies in Maritime Management, Maritime Yacht and Marina Technologies at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, as well as other related technical study programmes,
Perform managerial activities based on acquired theoretical and practical knowledge aligned with the requirements of the international labour market,
Apply specialised technical–managerial knowledge and skills, and complete professional practice in organisations within the maritime economy,
Acquire engineering qualifications for performing tasks in the field of maritime management,
Conduct independently scientific research work, and work on projects in technical and interdisciplinary scientific fields,
Gain qualifications for further education at the postgraduate level.
